Drew passed away between mile markers 151 and 152 near Seal Rock, Oregon, on Highway 101 on Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was barely a month into his 28th birthday. He was driving southbound when his truck slowed, went into an embankment and flipped onto the left side. He had minimal injuries, but died on the scene. Investigation concluded it was from a medical condition. No one was hurt; he was an excellent conscientious driver every day of his life.
