After several months of classes and on-the-road training with his excellent mentor, Jason Wells, Drew finished Swift Trucking School and went to work for them. He was a heavy hauler, a long-distance hauler, a team-driver (with his dad, Dewane Elliott) and even an owner-operator for a couple years, operating out of Lewiston, Idaho, and then Sumner, Washington.
